The Bernard Johnson Group, Inc. (BJG) is an established business, which provides a variety of Land Services to private developers, local government, non-profit organizations, financial institutions and real property owners. BJG is a 100% minority owned that prides itself in developing and re-establishing urban and metropolitan communities throughout the state of California.
The company has obtain its Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Certifications status with the City of San Diego, City of Sacramento, California Department of Transportation, California Public Utilities Commission and the state of California Unified Certification. In addition the firm is incorporated and has it's Certification in the state of Georgia, with application pending in Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Tennessee and Illinois.

The Bernard Johnson Group, Inc. is a development industry leader in completing due diligence entitlement evaluation reports, Right of Way and Land Acquisition. The entitlement evaluation report provides developers,owner and prospective buyers with a through review of anticipated government requirements and approvals, community/neighborhood issues, a summary of anticipate fees and exactions, and time estimates for project approvals. As a result of our entitlement evaluation services for a variety of clients and properties, we are familiar with current development and project approval issues throughout California, including "managed" growth legislation and related planning, zoning, housing (low/moderate income), traffic and transportation policies.
Since BJG represents various public agencies, we continue to maintain a balanced perspective in terms of how the public and private sectors achieve solutions to negotiated public/private real estate transactions, including Utility and Energy Companies. As a result of this perspective and in conjunction with our technical skills, BJG personnel have acquired an extensive track record in successfully negotiating numerous entitlement approvals, which include development agreements, project and infrastructure tax exempt/taxable financing structures, tax subsidy and reimbursement agreements, and land use and zoning agreements. In total BJG has successfully negotiated and structured the financing for over $280 million dollars in public/private transactions involving office,retail,industrial,housing and mixed-use projects on behalf of private developers and public agencies,utility and energy companies.
